About Us
About Us
The Halle Institute for Global Research and Learning supports and promotes global research and intellectual engagement for faculty, students, and visiting scholars. By fostering ambitious scholarly work, the Halle Institute creates connections for Emory University across the world.
The Halle Institute is committed to supporting research and teaching that exposes societal racism. We are resolute in our belief that global research is critical in uncovering and helping to improve social, cultural, economic and political inequities. Global researchers from across Emory University have come together to create racial justice through research initiatives that focus on, and seek to end, the root causes of racism.
