URC-Halle Institute Global Research Award

The Halle Institute for Global Research has partnered with the University Research Committee (URC) to award up to eight grants in any of the following six URC categories for individual or collaborative research with an international dimension.

  • Arts: Visual and Performing 
  • Biological and Health Sciences 
  • Humanities 
  • Interdisciplinary 
  • Mathematics and Natural Sciences 
  • Social Sciences

Ellie Schainker (pictured), Arthur Blank Family Foundation Associate Professor of History and Jewish Studies in Emory College of Arts and Sciences, received a Halle Institute for Global Research - University Research Council -  International Research Award in 2019.
