Kelly Richmond Yates manages a variety of programs for the Halle Institute for Global Research and directs international research collaborations. She develops new opportunities for global institutional research partnerships, and under her leadership, the Halle Institute has fostered connections in Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, Israel, Scotland, and South Africa. Kelly is the winner of competitive national and international fellowships from the Fulbright Commission and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) that establish powerful links between Emory and university partners outside the United States. She also directs Emory’s undergraduate and graduate Global Fellows programs which provide support and resources to initiate international research.

Kelly joined the Halle Institute for Global Research after ten years as a lead academic and research administrator at Emory University. Her professional experience includes project management for corporate and not-for-profit organizations, including facilitating intercultural training programs for international travelers.
